About

The Canvas is an art world newsletter that goes inside the major galleries, auction houses, and art fairs — and interviews the power-brokers who run them.

It publishes during the major fair and auction weeks, with longer premium editions in between, and is written for the people who actually work in this market: collectors, dealers, gallery directors, auction house specialists, fair operators, artists, and the wider professional ecosystem around them.

The Readership

Subscribers have included senior leadership at Christie's, Sotheby's, Phillips, Pace, and Hauser & Wirth, along with a long roster of advisors, family offices, and independent collectors. Group subscriptions are available for institutions.
